New Music Friday
This is the newest part of the web page and it is a small peak of the music we have come across this week. There are no rules in terms of genre or time of released , it is just an area of the page where we look at innovative and exciting music releases. This can be anything from an up and coming artist to a long standing band who have a new release. There is also the opportunity for members to submit music they have heard or even feature their own band. All submissions must go to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be sure to include the subject 'New Music Friday' so we do not miss any of your submissions.
Ayron Jones is an up and coming artist in America, he is quite a unique blend of different styles. The debut album ' Child Of The State' was released last year.
You can listen to the debut album via Spotify, feel free to use our player on the right.
Ayron Jones combines grunge, rock and soul for this fine album and it works quite well, he also brings through some of his unique guitar playing style, which is always good to see.
He is up and coming in America, but surprisingly he is starting to develop a following in the U.K, he is set to play The Deaf Institute in Manchester on November 8th, later this year.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers: Return of The Dream Canteen
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers return with their 13th Studio Album, this album was announced a few months back, after their earlier album this year ' Unlimited Love'. (You can read a review for that album here. This album marked the return of John Frusicante, who hadn't recorded an album with band since 2006 with 'Stadium Arcadium'.
Return of The Dream Canteen carries on with a similar feeling to ' Unlimited Love' there are some notable tracks such as ' Eddie' which is a great song and a wonderful tribute to the late Eddie Van Halen, some excellent guitar work here with a beautiful solo to top it off at the end. There are some hints of some of their much older albums from the 80's with fast funky guitar riffs and riveting bass lines. They are sounding maturer and they combine this sounds with some mellow tracks but on the whole it works as an album.
